Like any good backyard chemist, Cathy Diver specialises in cooking the world around her into something fizzy, novel or transcendental. Swimming pool sunny, occasionally harrowing, with a psychedelic bent, Cathy’s songs are electrified by her astrologically compatible band.

Her debut record, Everything’s a Car, is out now on Undine Records. 

Since this release in February, 2025, Diver has performed at A Festival Called Panama, continued to foster a grassroots, loyal fanbase and community, and garnered critical acclaim, including as Beat magazine’s May feature review. Recently, album track, Holden CX 7349 was featured on Netflix series, The Survivors.

A prolific and passionate artist of the Nipaluna/Hobart scene, Diver is an independent writer and producer with strength of vision, tenderness, and nerve.
